Blog #5
I have enjoy a lot this quarter for two reasons the first one is because I have the opportunity to interact with different professionals as well as with parents. The second is because I really learn a lot from each one of my classmate’s discussions and blogs. During this quarter I also had learned on how to advocate for children and their families. I belief that as educators is our responsibility to teach and stand up for children.
I would like to say thank you to Teresa for the great information she provided within these 10 weeks. I've learned so much from journals blogs and I gained new knowledge about Autism. I think you chose a great topic because this is so important in the field of education. Teresa I wish you the best in your career and keep up the great job you do with children. During these 10 weeks I have read all your blog postings. It is amazing to me, to hear how you express yourself when speaking with professionals, colleagues, and other people within the field.
I believe this is one of the qualities teachers need to have. I strongly believe people need to be passionate about what they do in order to be successful with their career. I had the opportunity to read your blogs and I can honestly say you seem to enjoy what you do. I wish you accomplish all your dreams and don't let anything stop you from continuing your professional path. GOOD LUCK
I also would like to say thank you to Barbara for all the information she provided during these 10 weeks. I've learned and gained new knowledge about Early Intervention and I wish you the best in your education. This topic is an important topic for families, professionals, and teachers, within the field. Knowing facts about Early Intervention is always great to know. It is to people advantage to gain knowledge because they can understand facts better. I had the pleasure to read and follow your blog journals. Ms. Barbara, I wish you the best in your professional path and in the future. Thank you for all your contributions and dedication. GOOD LUCK
I'm a firm believer about providing quality not quantity, especially because teachers are always busy running around and teaching children academic skills they need to learn prior to moving up to the next level. Finding the time to teach each individual child is a challenge but not impossible. Many of us chose this field because we love teaching young children but to me the most important thing is to find that special time to help each child's individual needs. If I can do this I know I'm doing my job, which is to help children succeeded in their education.

Hi, Guadalupe
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear that you had learned a lot from other colleagues in this course. Like you I had learned the importance of advocating for young children rights. It is essential as educator to keep our self well informed about child education and development to be able to represent them as needed. I also considered that early intervention is crucial to provide young children all the necessary tools to get them ready for in and after of school. Well I wish you good luck, happy holidays!
